For the AW26 season at CIFF, FINE CHAOS returns with ARA SOLIS, a fully immersive runway experience that rejects the traditional show format in favor of long-form storytelling and universe building. Set in the year 2075, ARA SOLIS unfolds inside The Dome—an authoritarian corporate city where civilians, military forces, and prisoners coexist under a regime of surveillance and control.

This is not dystopia for shock value.

It is speculative fiction as mirror.

The audience is not entertained.

They are positioned as witnesses.

The runway stages power, resistance, and captivity in choreographed formations that blur the lines between authority and rebellion. Clothing becomes narrative architecture—constructed through deconstructed silhouettes, underground tailoring, nervous velour textures, delicate distressing, and refined surface treatments that feel lived-in rather than polished for approval.

In an industry stagnating under repetition, FINE CHAOS does not pivot toward safety. It doubles down on experimentation.

Inclusivity is not performative here—it is structural. The return of Sissel, a person with below-the-knee amputations and a recurring muse since SS25, reinforces the brand’s refusal to separate aesthetics from lived reality. Bodies are not styled to fit the clothes. The clothes respond to the bodies.

Surrounding the runway, The Market—a co-created format developed by FINE CHAOS for CIFF—collapses the distance between show and trade fair. Market-style booths house the work of ten emerging designers alongside FINE CHAOS, forming a shared environment rather than isolated brand moments. The entire creative team takes the final bow, not just the creative director.
