CHANCELLE MAFOUA
Chancelle is a multi-hyphen creative with a strong background in the entertainment industry. Her early experience began as a performance artist doing music and stage productions which eventually led her to a long term career working behind the scenes in the film and television industry. Her creative experience and educational background in Communications and Business have enabled her to successfully fuse her business and creative skills into her work.
From the creative standpoint, Chancelle first began developing her skills at an early age writing poetry, songs and short stories while refining her performance art skills. While in college, she continued to hone her creative skills by developing, writing and producing her first sitcom for the school's television network and leading various school and local stage productions.
During that time, she also landed a PR & Marketing internship with a small record label in New York City, providing her with the opportunity to get her feet wet in the PR world, learn the music business and develop relationships with various radio stations, DJs and promoters. Post college, she worked various promotional jobs with some non-profits and local music companies before eventually finding herself working on the set of a John Leguizamo and Rosi Perez film. From there, her career in film and television took off.
With a span of nearly two decades working in media & entertainment, Chancelle has worn many hats throughout her career, starting from the bottom and working her way up in the industry. In that time, she has worked with various musicians, actors, models, directors, producers and other influential figures in the fashion and entertainment realm. Traveling all over the country from NY to Hawaii, she worked on major print, film & television projects with media giants like MTV, NBC, New Line Cinema and Netflix.
Some of her biggest career highlights include working on mega movie franchises like John Wick and Men in Black and assisting on fashion projects for major brands like Elle Magazine and Calvin Klein. With such a diverse portfolio of experience, Chancelle is an accomplished vet well seasoned in her ability to fuse fashion, entertainment and business.
