New York Fashion Week is only 2 months away. The anticipation to see what our favorite designers have in store for the 2020 winter/fall ready-to-wear shows is building and the ongoing hype around bloggers and influencers in the industry. For example, if you didn't know who CHOCHENG or Ground Zero is by the end of last season, you've probably been living under a rock.

Which model(s) will be in high demand? Who is the next fashion editor/ fashion blogger go from obscure to influential? Will newly placed creative directors spread their wings at their respective new fashion houses? Will another designer change location or pull out of fashion week altogether? Who's sitting in the front row? All these questions will be answered in the coming weeks during fashion week. Dries Van Noten surprised everyone last spring with stunning D.I.Y Persian evening gowns dominating during Paris Fashion Week. With a new business culture and daring to target the millennial generation. Creativity and innovation, and of course, authenticity has helped this brand pivot and recalibrate to reassert itself within the fashion community. There always drama to come after fashion week. Also, in 2018, After 2 high-profile years, Raf Simons left Calvin Klein. The New York Times notes that the relationship between Simons and the brand was irreparably fractured when the chief executive of the corporation that owns Calvin Klein apparently appeared to blame the chief creative officer for declining sales. Pay close attention to Raf Simons, who unveiled his SS19 collection. All of these question and more will be answered, I am looking forward to what the winter/fall season!
